What to do, step by step
- Open WeChat Pay
Open WeChat and go to Me → Services → Money or the payment code shortcut in your current version.
- Display the payment barcode or QR
Let WeChat display your temporary code. Keep the code private and never share a screenshot.
- Let the cashier scan
Show the code to the cashier’s reader. Check any confirmation prompts and the transaction amount.
- Check for a successful payment
Confirm the success notification in WeChat or with the merchant before leaving.
