What to do, step by step
- Check whether you were already charged
Look for transaction history in WeChat Pay or your bank before trying another payment.
- Read the decline reason
Check whether WeChat shows an issuing-bank refusal, eligibility restriction, verification requirement or merchant issue.
- Use support or a different payment method
Contact official WeChat Pay support or your issuing bank. Where accepted, try a different eligible card, Alipay or RMB cash.
