What to do, step by step
- Open Me → Services → Wallet
From the WeChat home screen, open Me, then Services, then Wallet. Some versions show a shortcut to Bank Cards.
- Tap Bank Cards → Add a Card
Open Bank Cards and tap Add a Card or the + button. Make sure you are in the official WeChat app.
- Follow secure identity and bank checks
Enter the requested information only inside WeChat. Your issuing bank may request extra authentication; identity verification may also be required.
- Confirm that your card is listed
Return to Bank Cards and check whether your card appears. Eligible cards are mainly intended for merchant purchases; transfers and red packets can be restricted.
