What to do, step by step
- First, check transaction status
Before trying again, look in Alipay transaction history. A payment may still be processing even if the screen disappeared.
- Read the payment error
Check for any message about card authentication, payment limits, bank decline or merchant acceptance.
- Check card, merchant and amount
Verify the right card is selected and the store accepts your payment method. Overseas-linked cards may have restrictions for some transactions.
- Get official help or switch payment
Use Alipay’s in-app Help or your issuing bank’s official support. If payment still fails, ask about an alternative accepted card or RMB cash.
