What to do, step by step
- Find an official ticket machine or counter
Inside the station, follow signs for Tickets / 售票 or ask staff for a single-journey ticket.
- Choose destination or fare
On the machine, select the destination station, confirm the fare and ticket quantity.
- Pay using a supported method
Follow the machine’s displayed payment instructions, or pay at the staffed counter. Availability varies by city and machine.
- Tap or insert your ticket at the gate
Use the gate marked for the ticket type. Keep your ticket until you exit, as you may need it again.
