Ride the metro with an Alipay code

What to do, step by step
- Open Transport in Alipay
In the official Alipay app, find Transport (出行). The name and position can vary by version.
- Select the city and Metro
Choose the city you are visiting, then select Metro. The screenshots show Beijing as an example; your city and buttons may differ.
- Activate the metro QR code
On the Beijing example, review the agreements, select the consent checkbox if you agree, then tap “Agree and obtain card” and follow identity checks inside Alipay. Only use the live code generated in your account.
- Scan at entry and exit gates
Present the active metro ride code to the designated reader when entering; scan again on exit where the system requires it.
