What to do, step by step
- Check the stop and route
Match the bus number (120 or 2 in the example), direction and boarding stop against the posted stop sign and live Amap route.
- Prepare an accepted fare method
If using cash, carry small RMB notes or coins and check the fare: buses often do not provide change. Local transit cards may also work.
- Board safely and pay
Board through the indicated door and pay/scan at the correct reader or fare box. Keep aisles clear.
- Track your destination and alight
Check the stop sequence in live Amap and listen for your destination stop; the example alights at TianQiao.
