What to do, step by step
- Plan the route in Amap
Open Amap, search for your destination and select Public Transport.
- Check the route and line number
Choose a route that actually includes the bus service you need. The annotated screenshot now shows a mixed metro + city-bus route, with Bus 120 or 2 as an example. Check its route number, direction and transfer points.
- Walk to the correct boarding stop
Check Amap’s named boarding stop (example: TianAnMen Dong), the direction, and stop sequence. Then walk to the correct actual roadside stop.
- Check the approaching bus
Before boarding, compare the bus line number and destination/direction on the real vehicle with your Amap route. The picture is an Amap reference, not a photograph of the approaching bus; ask staff if uncertain.
